Teaching Hebrew Through Movement holiday vocabulary in a virtual environment? All of the words that can be illustrated with a picture are here for you.
- Teachers should use the larger pictures for themselves and make sure to stand close enough to the video camera so that children can see the items. A mix of real objects is also helpful (i.e., if possible, don’t just have a picture of a lulav, borrow one from your educational program).
- Children should be given the two or the four photos-per-page sets, either as a hardcopy printed by the educational program or sent as a PDF for families to print at home (if they have printers).
Color is always better (especially for the teacher’s packet, but also for the students’).
For help in using these pictures as props, post your question(s) on the “Hebrew Moves Me” Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/194398270732234
