THE PRISM PROJECT - POSTER SET - JEWISH MEMORY
The Prism Project dramatically shifts the learning model in Jewish educational programs. Each six to seven week Prism begins with a mifgash, or meeting, between the class and a guest from the community. The guest shares a conundrum for students to resolve, offering a prism through which to explore issues in Jewish values, belief, and action. Ownership is placed squarely in the hands of the students as they research answers to the guest’s question. Teachers move away from center stage to work as facilitators and mentors, helping students make sense of what they discover. At the end of each Prism, students present their findings to the guest, who can then put their ideas into action.
These are the 13 posters for the JEWISH MEMORY unit of The Prism Project, offering a way to provide visual diversity in your workspace. Note that these are only a few of the many Resource Sheets posters. They will be printed on 18x24 paper (laminating is optional).
